Hello Families!

It’s time for another exciting school year to start, and an important part of Little Cedars Elementary is our PTA.

The Little Cedars PTA supports critical academic and social needs, is an active voice on decisions that impact your child’s health, safety and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community.

As we start this year, you won’t see the PTA’s usual flurry of volunteer sign-ups, yearbook order forms, fundraisers, or club or event announcements yet. They WILL be coming – but first, we want to have a meaningful conversation with families and teachers, to decide how we can make the biggest impact for our children this year. Their needs are greater, and our challenges are bigger. Let’s focus first on supporting our Wolverines in learning from home, as best we can and with all the enthusiasm we can muster.

I invite you all to join and “PTA For Your Child” this year. There is no wrong or right way to be involved. You can volunteer time and effort. You can give money by joining or donating. You can have a say by attending PTA meetings. You can help strengthen our presence at the local, state, or national level as an advocate for your child’s education. I invite you to help us support your child’s potential, and to PTA in whatever way is right for you, because we can do more together than apart.

Sincerely,

Emily Walker, LCE PTA Interim President
