May 2017 - Congratulations to our May Volunteer of the Month, Nicole Brown. Nicole has two sons that attend Little Cedars, Cooper is currently in third grade and Austin is in Kindergarten. When she's not working as a nurse at Evergreen Health Care, she can be found at the school volunteering. Nicole spends time helping out in each of her son's classrooms as much as she can, as well as volunteering at several school PTA events. Did you attend our amazing Spring Carnival and have the time of your life? For the past three years, Nicole has teamed up with our VP of Events to help make sure this was a smashing success! She puts in months and months of planning so our families can have an evening of joy and entertainment. We appreciate all she does for our kids and our school. Thank you Nicole!

December 2016 - A huge shout out goes out to December's Volunteer of the Month... Reem Youssef!! Reem spent countless hours putting together this year's student directory, sifting through opt- out forms and making sure all the details of the directory were just right. With just over 700 students, this was quite the undertaking! Reem has helped in this effort the last few years, her time and attention will be missed when her youngest graduates LCE at the end of this year. Please help us thank and congratulate Reem!
November 2016 - Our November Volunteer of the Month is Christine Willems. All four of her children have attended Little Cedars Elementary, and her youngest is currently a sixth grader here. Christine has been our wonderful Hospitality Chair for the past two years, and we are so grateful to have her! She continues to volunteer at PTA events each year, helps out with her children's classroom parties, and last year, she attended the sixth grade camp as a chaperone. In her spare time, Christine enjoys the outdoors and hiking, and is a very talented painter. We appreciate you so much Christine for all you do for the PTA, our school, and especially our students. Thank you!
